The best thing about the institute has been its conception at the precise time when the biotechnology industry was on its rise. This has been possible due to the perceptive vision of our Mentor and Honorable Chairman of Charutar Vidya Mandai, Dr. C. L. Patel. He has helped us grow in a perfect synchrony with the highly lucrative and rewarding developments in biotechnology, globally as well as locally. Our students now have a bright future to look out to with fabulous opportunities for jobs or research or even entrepreneurship.

As rightly said by William Butler Yeats "Education is not filling a pail but the lighting of a fire", the fire lit for excellence in education and over all development of the students is now a conflagration. Since conception, the institute has achieved noteworthy successes in all spheres. This is the result of unending diligence of students and staff members and their zeal to achieve excellence in all their endeavors and the belief in the mission and vision of the institute.

I convey my heartiest thanks to Honorable Chairman Dr. C. L. Patel and other CVM members for their excellent motivations, constant support and guidance.
